Lawrence J. Gordon was born in St. Louis, Missouri and lives in the Twin Cities area. He has been practicing law since 1978 and has extensive trial, small business and real estate law experience. In addition to his private law practice, he served in-house as commercial underwriting and claims counsel for national title insurance companies and as general counsel for several midwest corporations. He is a frequent lecturer on real estate law, title insurance and tax-deferred exchanges and authored a primer on Section 1031 exchanges entitled "The ABCs of Section 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges." Mr. Gordon is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Missouri and is a member of the Missouri Bar and Minnesota State Bar Associations.
